ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL LEGAL FORUM
We live in a world where the law is systemically hijacked, redefined, inverted, and weaponized, manifesting in what has become acceptable vitriol, vandalism, violence, and targeting of Jews and anyone who identifies with the Jewish state, but not only. This mainstreaming of antisemitism is both a symptom and a weapon in a raging war for hearts and minds, that in the words of the late Rabbi Sacks, signals a major threat to “humanity, freedom, and the dignity of difference.”
Anchored in advocacy, education, and accountability, the International Legal Forum aims to equip with the tools to fight this raging “eighth front” of war, creating, enhancing, and advancing proactive strategies that remember and remind the fundamental tenets of the law, reclaim their original and principled meaning, and renew the social covenant, commitment, and shared responsibility to uphold, promote, and protect them.
To remember, reclaim, and renew the foundational principles of law vital to confronting rising extremism, and the antisemitism that signals it.
OUR MISSION:
A reality where law, in its original intent, is equally and consistently applied to all.
OUR VISION:
OUR VALUES

We honor the historical foundations of legal principles and work to ensure their equal and consistent application to all individuals, communities, and countries.
INTEGRITY OF LAW

We speak clearly and act boldly in the face of injustice that has been dressed as “justice.” Through strategic and principled advocacy, we expose and challenge the case study of antisemitism as defined by the IHRA working definition, however and wherever it appears.
COURAGE IN ADVOCACY

We believe that knowledge is a catalyst for change. In a polarizing and fragmentizing time, educating the public, decision makers, legal professionals, students, and others - strengthens the understanding of the imperative to reclaim legal tools and principles vital to protecting human rights.
COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION

We hold institutions, governments, organizations, and individuals accountable to equal and consistent application of law.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILTY

We cannot fulfill our mission alone, as this global challenge requires a holistic and multidisciplinary strategy. Transcending across real or perceived differences of geography, politics, and religion, we collaborate with individuals and organizations dedicated to research, monitoring, and action.
GLOBAL COLLABORATION
